This picture was taken near Gifu, Yôrô (養老) on August 2009. It’s part of a set of pictures not yet published about cemeteries worldwide.
It was a sunny day in Yôrô and I had recently bought my new camera, a Canon EOS Kiss X3, so my family and I decided to take a ride to test it. As we were driving, I saw lots of cemeteries, and the idea of creating an album about them popped. My family was waiting for me by the car while I was taking this shot.
